Sending destination to car via google maps

I have a 2010 535i and I've never been able to figure out how I could send my destinations to my car using google maps. I've heard it can be done, and I've tried to find out how to do it with no success.

Can someone tell me what needs to be done in order to send routes to your car?

Thanks

You need to have an active BMW assist/consierge account set up (cost money once outside of the free period).

Enter your destination in Google Maps, click the "more" pull down menu (located next to Directions and Search Nearby links). Select "Send" from the pop up menu and then click on "Car". Select "BMW" as the make and then enter your BMW Assist account name (it's the e-mail address you use to log into the "My BMW" site on www.bmwusa.com)
