Cool M Sport: Close shave with curve

This curb flew under my PDC radar. Luckily I stopped within millimeters of serious curb rash to the spoiler. I did nick it on the right side but it could've been a lot worse. Hate when that happens!

Knowing where your car is on the road instead of relying on beepy thingies to tell you: Priceless.

I try to back into spots whenever possible.

And when I do have to pull in, I rather leave the car sticking out a little bit to avoid curbing the bumper.

i've basically given up on this.

its impossible man, the front clip of my car has a bunch of scrapes on the bottom edge from things like what you show above and i've resigned myself to just getting it repainted if a really visible one ever gets there. or just buying a new car in a few years.

I always look very carefully on my top view cameras and stop right in front of the curb. I've had the bottom scratched twice so far in the beginning and have been very careful since then.

The side view cameras also help to know where the front of the car is when you have to pull into a tight spot

Eight inches! I'm usually somewhere between two four feet out from the bumper. Doesn't bother me if I get strange looks.

i used to park my bmw like all my other cars where i had gotten used to really not caring until a few scratches.

but now i pack a foot back or something. i figure it makes your car no longer than some F-150 or anything
