The Bimmerfest East is Better Roll Call Thread

I got burned on my arms, legs, feet, neck and face. The burn on my nose is so bad it is acutely peeling . Next year I am definitely bathing in SPF 1,000 before I go out side.

Theres a thrift store across the street from our hotel that we have made a trip to after the fest every year so far, a lady in the store informed me that I got burned that day. I must've looked pretty red, but it wasn' painful at all.

Amber 'n Ed arrived here safely for the night about 10:30 CDT. They presented me with the Bimmerfest 2013 Tee, and I'll tell ya, the signatures were such a fantastic surprise! Thanks to all of you for signing. That shirt will be treasured!

Yeah, for sure! When they walked in the house Amber said "Aaaaaaaaah AC!!!!!!" I asked Ed "no AC in Ashlyn?" "Nope". They have to rough it just like I do....no functional AC in Sylvia or Elvira. I swipe Bebe from my daughter every chance I get if I'm going more than a few miles.

BTW, they LOVED the tour, Jon!

Plus, this year it was so stinkin' hot (over 100 heat index) we did not do as much walking this year. But I must say a BIG thank you to Don for organizing the food fest. The brats were incredible.

That's my AutoX kit LOL. Down here you need something to give you some relief from the sun and the awning chair keeps the rain off my gear if we get a rain storm moving through.....
