weird sound

I have a 06 x5. When I turn it on, I hear this high pitch noise coming from the engine. It sounds like radio feedback and addition when I turn off my truck I hear a release of air sound. Any ideas?

First, you have the wrong forum! But, the engine sound could be from the fuel pump. If the vehicle has air springs, they often release air to adjust the height after the load changes.

I realize that after I posted the thread and actually I don't have the leveler system so air springs are not it. But thanks anyway
