A) I doubt that either of those are low enough for Franklyn and...

B) They already are too low for the E24.

A light drop is good. That low is unnecessary.

E30s have been going up in price, but for an automatic? I'd say no. Besides, it's missing a wheel center cap. Offer him $2k.

Here's a few I'm lusting after....sort of.

Not sure I'd want to tackle someone else's problem child, but it's exactly what I'd want in a ti:

http://bham.craigslist.org/cto/3955744978.html

Eddie having two E30s has really gotten me itching for one. I'd prefer a coupe, but the 'vert looks so sexy with the top down (and so weird with it up ) That wing would have to go......

http://bham.craigslist.org/cto/3926969604.html

And these are tempting just to have, never mind that they have no engines.......

http://bham.craigslist.org/cto/3958392203.html

My friend Bill (who owns three 2002's) turned his nose up at them because they didn't have round taillights. '02 snobbery!

Wow. Avus on Dove with Koseis and decent mileage? Yes please. Nevermind the other stuff that looks just as delicious.

So it's still for sale.

I would/ could take out a loan easily.

Is it worth it to buy it now and pay for it while I have another car to drive. Or should I just save and buy one when I have the cash saved up?

My only thoughts would be.... No 6sp and mods. I would have to put that all in myself.

The 6spd is nice. But it isn't something I would personally invest in. Just a lot of money for what you get. Better invested in other places, IMO. But it sure would be nice to buy a car with a 6spd already in it.

I would definitely buy that car if I had the money and it checked out as far as condition. I would invest in a PPI if I were you, Franklyn. Get the frame, suspension and motor checked out.

In other news, this was the easiest negotiation I've ever had to do. Called the guy up and he instantly changed the price to $100 without me saying anything.

I don't think you are sorry about this.

I'd pay money though.... then your $100 wheels can be even cheaper!
