Exclamation Headlights and fog lights not working

Hello everyone, today I bought a 95 325is and the headlights and fog lights aren't working. The previous owner had angel eye lights on but took them off and put the OEM lights back on. I found a connector and a green/yellow wire as well as a black/green wire that were just sitting there next to the lights. Here is a picture of the connector. I can't seem to find where it should go in.

edit: I checked the headlight wires for power and there wasn't any. Any idea what to check next?

I believe that connecter is for the alarm siren. As for the headlights not working the first thing I would check are all the fuses. Then I would check the headlight switch.

I'm pretty sure that is a fog light plug.

The corner lights are working which makes me think the switch still works. i think the lights worked when he had the other ones in. I checked the fuses and they were fine.

Are the bulbs good?

When I upgraded to glass lens H1 style headlight, I didn't have the high beam bulbs installed (truthfully, I hadn't purchased them) and this caused my fog lights to not work.

Just trying to start basic here...

I did end up finding the passenger side fog light wiring was split. The headlight switch doesn't illuminate so I may pick up a switch at the jy and see if that does the job.

Just FYI: Most headlight switches don't illuminate these days. It's not because the switch itself is broken, but just because the backlight bulb has burned out.
