Golf club storage

Just wondering if it is possible to put 4 sets of clubs in the cargo area without laying a back seat down.
Thanks...

I highly doubt it, unless you're dealing with some very small bags, and you aren't taking any rolling carts along . I can't even fit 4 sets in the back of my ML350 without folding the seats forward, and that has a bigger trunk than the X3.

My one set of clubs has to fit diagonally so I can't imagine getting 4 sets in there...they would have to stack all 4 on top of each other.

I tried this just this past weekend. Got 4 bags in decently. Take out the drivers and the two in the back can just hold onto them.

You gotta lay the bags in the cargo area, width-wise, 2 and 2... then you could just hold the drivers, or if you had the 40/20/40 split rears seats, you could just lay them up the middle.

It's tight, don't get me wrong, and there was no way I could see much out the back window.. but it works. and that's what side-view mirrors are for.
