Z4 Custom Luggage?

I saw a set of Z4 custom fitted luggage on Amazon which got me wondering if this is really needed? Your thoughts?

Yup, needed. No question about it. Problem is the Amazon stuff is not up to snuff. Fat luggage with grab handles makes for a very difficult haul up stairs, the far back of the hotel, etc. What is called for is modern luggage with spinner wheels and extendable pull handles that take up as much of the available Z4 space as possible. Once I take care of some other, higher priority projects, I intend to go on the hunt to identify precisely that luggage. I'll be sure to post what I find (or don't).

Not sure what you saw on Amazon, but I have luggage from www.Roadsterbags.com. They're very well made, includes a set of 3 bags.

Roadsterbags have their own set of problems centering primarily on issues related to cost and acquisition. Not everyone EDs.

Why, did you have a problem acquiring them? I didn't get them in Europe. I ordered them online and received them ahead of time to bring with me to Europe. Easy transaction. As far a cost goes, I don't know how they compare, but they certainly are more expensive than non-custom made bags. I would believe that all bags of this type would be as well.

Re: Z4 Custom Luggage?

They are expensive and they don't deliver on time all the time. If you must have these bags, order them with plenty of time upfront. We did our ed with regular bags. They both fit and we could pit the top down.
