Will my E70 wheels and bike rack fit.

Does. Anyone know if my E70 BMW fender mounted bike rack, roof rack and 19" rims will fit the new model?

Roof rack almost certainly not, the new one has the low profile rails similar to the X5 M. By Fender mounted bike rack you mean hitch mount? That should still work with a hitch.

I have the BMW bike rack the screws into the two tow hitch points on the fender. You unclip the covers and screw the bike rack at the two points to the rear fender.

Also what about the rims?

If I have to replace my winter wheels, bike rack and roof rack I am going to be really tempted to jump ship and go for the new Range Rover Sport Supercharged.

Got this from my local BMW Dealership.

"BMW finally responded to our request for a final answer on the accessories for the X5 today. Although the wheels will likely work just fine the other accessories will not transfer to the new body style when it gets here later in the year."

What?!!! Are you saying the $600 plus bike rack will not work with the F15? You gotta be kidding me....

I have the same bike rack from a 2012 X5M and have the same question. Any updates on this?

I will not work. I just got the tow hitch installed on the new F15 and will get a normal rear bike rack.

Darn! I hate how BMW makes expensive accessories like these incompatible w/ new models. Thanks

BMW's bike rack that screws into the two tow eyes will definitely not work on the F15 X5 because the F15 has only one functional tow eye. It may have two visible tabs on the fascia, but only the one on the passenger side has a threaded socket behind it.

Did you get the tow hitch installed by BMW or an aftermarket one? If it was BMW, how much was it? Do you know the part number? I can't seem to figure out in the accessory catalogue what the correct part would be for attaching a rear bike carrier
