halo lights won't come on

We have a 200 530i and the driver's side halo lights won't come on. They would come on, then go off... my husband would wiggle wires, etc. and they'd come back on. But, now they won't come on at all. Is there a fuse involved? Is there a troubleshooting procedure for the lights? We just had $1400 worth of work done on the car, throttle switch and fuel pump and they took out the breather box, and were working in this area... I'm wondering if they did something?
Which connector feeds power to that system? Does anyone know where I might find a schematic online that might show information on the lighting system?
