I've been discussing this (more like beating my head against a wall) with BMWNA, and even though our 2014 x3's have the NBT hardware already, they will not make the update available for anything pre-july 2013 build, even though it is only a software update. My recommendation is to write BMWNA, maybe enough people bitching will shame them into, ya know, standing behind their products and supporting them.

I've got a 2014 X3 Msport coining end if September. Will this feature be included?

Based on the public documents from BMW, any X3 with a build date after July 2013 should get the features, but alas, having an April 2013 version I can't verify

I would encourage anyone with a 2014 X3 (Pre July build) who feels shafted by BMW not making the software update available to us, to feel free to email BMWNA (custommerrelations@bmwusa.com).

My X3 build date was approximately August 1 and I just verified that I can access Siri on my paired iPhone by pressing and holding the "talk" button (or holding the appropriate button on the phone). Not sure how much I'll use it, but it's available.

I'm jealous! You have the nice sat-radio station icons, visual volume control and android support too. There is uncertainty if it came with it or not, so do you have a touch i-drive controller?

No touch version (if I understand what you mean), just the controller knob you rock back and forth or twist.

Yeah which means that our 2014 X3's with the NBT headunit can run the updated software just fine with zero hardware issues. BMW just doesn't want to make an upgrade available to us.
