Exclamation X5 Turbo change (05)

Hi. This is my 1st post. So hello

I have a question about my BMW. I just had a turbo fail and have had it replaced under warranty. Apart from the hose for the washer not being connected the air con no longer works when I got it back. would they need to have removed any parts related to the A/C when fitting the turbo? also the oil service indicator is still only on 1 block. I would have assumed that they would needed to have replaced the oil filter and oil (there was no oil anyway when the turbo failed) when replacing the turbo to ensure no matter was in the system...no?

Thanks in advance.
