Lightbulb Rear Passenger Shade Problem!

When I raise the shade the inside leather comes up and I have to fold it back down before I can lower the shade. Is there a spray glue that I can use to so that this will stop happening or should I take it to a local body shop for repair?

I am also interested if someone else has repaired this issue. My Drives side rear window has the same problem and was wondering the same thing myself.

Rear Passenger Shade Problem!

I just used super glue. Gorilla glue brand. It's held up for about 6 months so far. Easiest way to do it is to lower your window, then pop off the chrome strip on the inside. That will give you more trim to peel up the leather and put the glue on. It will set almost immediately so do a little bit at a time

I took mine to the dealership and they repaired. The leather was coming up on both sides. One side they glued successfully... The other side however came undone within a day... Had to take it back and have then staple the leather in place.

+1 on the super glue fix. Fast and easy fix.

No but that was because it was existing prior to
purchase... Theres the link to the whole debacle. In the end they fixed the shades for free using the staples and glue.

Thanks for sharing the information. I think I will try the glue remedy first and see what happens!
