7 Series - E65 / E66 (2002 - 2008)
Discussion of BMW's 4th generation E65/E66 7 Series flagship. The E65 generated much controversy, due to its radical styling and iDrive user difficulties. Nonetheless, the E65 broke records to become the best-selling 7-series iteration ever, especially after its 2005 facelift.

4 those of you with Nav TV or other Video source

I figured I would share this info with those of you that have
Nav Tv or any other type of after market Video source in your car . If you
would like to be able to Mirror your phone screen onto your dash
or basically mirror your photos, videos, music from your smartphone .
You can try this .

Today I installed a Push2TV in a E66 , I was very impressed with
the features & pic quality . I had previously installed a Hacked
Apple Tv 2 in his car , He asked me to remove it today cause his
Data bill was getting to high ( he had it tethered to his phone )
So then he had me put this Push2TV in it's place . So I did what
he asked & sent him on his way .

link to item =
http://www.netgear.com/landing/stream/tv/#push2tv

video of how it works in car =

Just talking to Kingsilverback today and was just talking how I wanted to add something to have video in my car. I will be looking into this and staying close to this thread. Paper, so instead of buying the Nav-TV I can get this instead? What will be needed for a full install? I apologize for the novice questions but the new electronics in this car still has me leery about doing any in-depth changes. I was once MECP cert but that was in my younger days installing for a now out of business chain.

Sorry maybe I explained things wrong .
In order to use this unit you must already
Have Nav TV or some other after market
Video system already installed . This unit
Would just be an add on to what tou already
Have .

In his case he already had NavTv in his car .
Last year he had me add the Apple Tv 2 that
Was hacked to watch the latest movies that
Were playing in theaters . Today I removed
The Apple tv 2 & installed this unit in its place .

I don't know ??? He had a Samsung Note & that worked .
I would suggest you do some research to see if an
Ipad or Iphone works with it .

Sorry for the late reply . I didn't notice this question .
We went to a local electronics store & purchased a
lighter plug adapter that gave out the same amount
of power needed to power the A2TV 3000 . I think it
was between $10 & $20 if I remember correctly .
Oh & yes I dissembled the lighter plug section &
tapped into the car for power .

Not trying to be a DICK , but what does that have to do with this topic ???

As for your aftermarket amp . More info is needed .
How do you have it hooked up ?
Do you have the Remote shut off wire hooked up ?
Are you tapped in using a relay ?
