Unhappy Hellppp lol battery bill :(

Guys, This is so funny my BMW dealer is charging me $780 to change the battery on my 2006 BMW 750Li LOL i have the funniest smile on my face right now , any advice ?

Can i actually do this myself , Im good at changing battery's on a Car but we all know the 7 is a Boat king size

Will i need this :

or can some guide me to the correct tool ?

ROFLMAOOOOOO The battery is like $120 from auto zone then you can buy a goos quality cable with software for like $60-100 damn they tried to RAPE you. Check out www.bmtechnic.co.uk

Buy the battery and either do it yourself or have the dealer register it for their extortionate fee of something like $100-$150.

LOL i know but then how come BMW charges so much .... lol if someone answer because its a BMW lol not acceptable
can you give me a link for the tool that orginates in the states or canada ? that also has shipping available lol

I cant believe i smiled at $780 lol i think its because im not surprised anymore by the bills from the 750

You can get the tool form ebay in the US but I think most sellers charge quite a bit more than in the UK.

The benefit with buying it from BM Technik is that he has written an installer that sets everything up for you.

If you just download it yourself or get it on CD from most ebay vendors it requires installing and setting up which is NOT easy unless you are very computer savvy.

As I understand BM Technik does post to the US for reasonable rates, but obviously I haven't had to use that service :P

@Piers1989 , Do you think you can find me the specific link on the BMechnic website , i'd like the cable and the software on a USB drive . Sorry im just new to this so thats why i'd just like someone with experience to help guide me a bit
