E65 battery drain

Hello guys i have a problem with battery...***65279; I recharge battery and drive 2-3 days and car (battery) is dead.. If i dont move with car, i started it after 14 days without problem. I put new battery bosch and register it by diag, and problem continues. When im drive car, no problems no failure no errors. Where is the problem?

The reason you have not gotten a reply, is because you have failed to read through the previous post on this topic. You need to read for direction because you have a battery drain. Something is not functioning correctly. You need the proper diagnostic tools or access to them to trouble shoot issue.

you have a module or device that is not going to sleep possibly. Look at the ISM module above the battery also they acted up sometimes, these are just off the top of my head. What are you checking faults with?

In 2 services told me, all modules going sleep without problem, they trying disconnect all things, bluetooth etc. problematic things... My mechanic have inpa dis and thing on electric wiring. in second service have some machine to sleeping mode, and third service is original bmw, there i dont know what they using to diag...

It can be with some cable which controling charging battery? (Edit:It is this ISMmodule what about you talk?) because alternator giving good voltage and battery is new bosch and registered..

Can i try disconnect this module or i must take from other car?

This may sound crazy but how are the testing the alternator. For the alternator to charge the battery the car must be driven for no less than 30 minutes. Just letting it sit running does not charge the battery. With INPA or DIS it will only show codes, it cannot detect sleep (if I am not mistaken) you either have a device on the CAN bus that is faulty. as you mention they unplug Bluetooth etc, did they unplug or MOSTBus jumper out there is a difference.
After the car goes to sleep and you can still hear the CD changer cycling, there is you problem.

If your car has comfort access you should try the door handles. I had a vampire bleed on the battery a couple of times now and in each case I ended up replacing a door handle to make it go away.

How can you tell which door handle is bad? I heard they get warm if there is a problem, but I haven't been able to discern a difference.

Re: E65 battery drain

I'd guess that the Power Module didn't take the new battery registration and retained the previous battery values. Thats why you still have the same symptoms.

Re-register the Battery again.

My dealer just disconnects an individual door handle and sees what difference it makes over night to the battery. Twice it's been the rear left that's been the problem although if you in the US that maybe the rear right. Just do them one at a time. My dealer did say that the handles were pretty unreliable and prone to shorts causing vampire bleeds. Fortunately mine all work correctly at this point in time.

Like "TechFreak" said there could be a possibility the car did not accept the battery registration.
