New to BF...Looking for angel eyes for new bimmer

wassup everyone!

a customer from my work called me back today and said his wife is taking too long to decide if she wants to use his 1995 540i rather than buying a new accord so I picked it up today!

Hella stoked since I got a steal. Only has 131k miles, new original color paint job, maybe about a year ago, with no dents nor dings. immaculate in and out. motor looks very clean with no leaks. only paid 3K

anyways...that's my story how I got in this. I want to get some angel eyes for it. My cousin has some for his 90 325i and I love how they look. Can I get some help where i can find some? how much i should spend? anybody selling? what brands to buy?

some wheels and beats would be next...

The reason there are 70 views on this and no reply is because "Angel Eyes" have been historically discussed ad nauseum, with a general concensus that they just dont fit well on the E34s.

You're about to get bombarded with questions like "when was the last cooling system overhaul?" "when were the fuel components last checked." "Does it throw any codes?" "what service has been performed?" as making sure you have a perfectly running car is much more important than pouring money into blinging it out.

So let me begin the questions:
Any shakes while driving? around 55-60mph? or braking through 45mph?
Any smoke out of the exhaust? Blue? White?

Congrats on the new car, many happy miles. Please spare it the b.s. angel eyes. They're just tacky. You'd be better off investing in smileys.

Thx for letting me know e34s don't fit good w the eyes. That's y I joined. Car has no codes. All scheduled Maint has been done. Dude gave me receipts of everything. He recently replaced radiator and hose. I'm not too savvy on mechanics of cars. No shakes during those speeds. No irregular smokes. What are the smileys?

yea no, i saw an e34 with them, horrid looking. Even the owner did not like them after the install, he said he would be rid of them when he got around to "ripping them out".

ebay is good, id say about 175$ is what you will spend, you also need the connectors.

A couple guys who post in the Bimmerforums.com E34 classifieds (sskoda and seventhstoned) sell them from Europe for about $200. Get the Bosch lights if you can, but Hella are OK. DEPO are cheap Asian aftermarkets. Avoid, especially used.

You can salvage connectors from a junkyard car or part-out. They're pretty common two-line plugs.

Bosch and Hella are identical parts, no reason to buy one over the other. Bosch is more common in my country though.

I can get some here for you easily if you want.
