Whoops! My error it was an A. Not a B. Ugly light green color, but would go like stink.

Never, it's only a BMW, is it about her or the car. In both instances you loose.

Daily driver and enthusiast are not mutually exclusive
You are correct, some people no matter what, just don't stick their hand out a window for anything.

Im in both groups. My car is a daily driver but i am still an enthusiast. Being 17, i dont exactly have another car to make my daily driver. I wave at any BMW, reserving light flashes for Z's

In 2002 when I purchased my Z3 new and waved, the wave was always returned. Frequently the wave was from the other Z3 and sometime even from a Z4. This continued for a few years. As years went by the return waves and waves from the others cars became less and less. I noticed that Z3 drivers became younger (although in the past few years that has seemed to changed back to older for Z3 drivers). I perceive the people like me that bought their Z3 new or as a first used owner on a still relatively new car realized what a special car they were really had. Now, I perceive most drivers are buying old, well used cars, simply because they think the car has a sporty look, and don't have a clue what a great vehicle it really is. The special pride that comes with owning and driving something that is really special is just not there anymore with respect to the remaining Z3s so I don't think most of the few remaining other Z3 drivers give enough of a **** to even notice other Z3s let alone wave.

Im the 4th owner of mine and just hit 57500 miles. Ive gotten close to my car by having to fend off my friends in school with all their criticisms about the color and lights. Its amazing how much ive fallen in love with the car since i got it. First thing i wanted to do was repaint it but man am i glad i didnt (:

I have a 135 and I wave at other 135 drivers. I feel like if I was a 3 driver my had would be out the call all the time
