Time to update my signature

Just wanted to say hello... finally I'm in an M3.

For those in the know... you know that my history with the M3 has been turbulent... including actually ordering one and ending up having to sue the dealership. My lease of my 135i was in part due to most of my funds being tied up in that lawsuit, so it's taken me a while to get the M3 I wanted.

To summarize; 2008 M3 Sedan with manual, tech package, EDC etc. No heated seats, but I'll live. Drove the 135i 850 miles to Washington DC, then drove the M3 back. The 135i is now in the hands of another enthusiast (from M3Post) for the 1 year remaining on the lease while I now own an M3 Sedan. Definitely a VERY different beast than the 135i... but I definitely couldn't be happier

Of course, thanks to the fact that it's blue, I've just been telling people my car has put on a little weight... and grew a pair...

... of doors.

Nice! Don't let the kiddies get you into modding too early. The car is pretty damn near perfect.

The problem now is that once you drive an M, everything just seems to wallow and roll. You're going to have a hard time picking a next car.

I've said this before, the only car that will get me out of my M3 is a GT3. ONLY Car. None of the others really tickle my fancy, and I hate the GT-R. Fast....but too big.

wait skimp out? Did you mean to say this and didn't read the "nice exhaust" portion my comment or did you mean with an Xpipe? Xpipes vs. test pipes - negligible difference compared to price.

ESS exhaust. Quiet when you want it to be, a screamer when you you want it to be. No rasp, no drone and it has this rich, rich tone. I love it.

You guys are making me chomp at the bit to start modding, you know. I'm starting light and easy with some simple additions (radar detector, Dension Gateway 500)... already got better brake pads on it and you can see the grille

All of it. If I were going to get an exhaust it would be Eisenmann, ESS, or akrapovic which would never have come near the minor investment Dinan intake, pulley, and BPM stage1+DCT tune was.
