E30 (1982 - 1993)
God's Chariot. The E30 was produced primarily from 1982 through 1991. The cabriolet was the one exception which was produced through 1993.

1992 Alpina Convertible

There is a 1992 E30 Alpina convertible on Auto Trader right now for $3000. Anyone have any info on these modified BMWs?

It's either an Alpina-badged regular E30, or it's real, but it's a ragged piece of junk. No way someone is selling a legitimate Alpina E30 for $3k. Link to sale?

That's what I was thinking. Its on Auto Trader - I searched BMW 325i convertibles, 1981 to 1993, any distance. Its in North Carolina. Looks very pretty in the pictures. So, what would a real Alpina cost?

Is the car you saw white with a black softtop and creamy white interior? If I'm looking at the same one it a 325i that's it - nothing special. NOT AN ALPINA.
Looks like someone was covering all the bases on badging though - I see an M3 badge on the front grill.

No idea on market value for a B3 2.7. 10k plus maybe?!

I think so - its at a dealer in North Carolina - white interior and body. I saw an M works badge on the side next to the Alpina badge, too. Looks like a nice 20 footer. If it was an Alpina I was ready to fly up to NC and buy it.

Pull up the ad in your browser, right-click on the URL in the address bar, click "copy", come here, compose a reply, right-click in the message area and "paste". Done.

If you're on an iAnything, hit yourself in the head with a hammer and forget about it.

Sorry - the link is about a paragraph long, so I'm lost. But, just go onto Auto Trader, type in BMW convertible 325i 1992 Any Distance and it should come up in the search listed at $2,999. They are claiming it to be an Alpina, but you are right, the price is crazy.
