I know the rules, but no pictars

She's awesome. Met her through a mutual friend at Cars and Coffee on Saturday. I saw her alone as I was pulling up and thought it was odd such an attractive woman is at a show whose attendance is notoriously heavily weighed by old men. The mutual friend meets me at the Starbucks and walks in with her.

She's a journalism graduate from VA and a designer at a LA based firm. She's a tall, attractive blonde. Very fashionable and very into cars. We totally clicked and before I knew it, the whole parking lot had cleared out and it was just us two standing around talking. She's very intelligent, respectable, passionate about her field, and the fact that she's so into cars is the icing on the top of the cake.

Typically, cherries come on the top of sundaes, and icing comes on top of cakes. Just messin' with ya. Sounds like a wonderful weekend.

To honor little kitty Jackson, I will bite my tongue and keep the dirty jokes to myself.

I'm sorry about the news Jon.

That fruit is way too low for even me to want to get it.

Jon, try to enjoy the time you have left with the cat. It sucks and it won't get better for a while.

Sorry about the kitty! I hate that. We lost three kittens just recently due to what apparently was their own mother's milk turning toxic to them. I've heard of it, but never seen it til now.

In other news, anybody near Troy, NY want some free wheels? ET20, Dial Elysee 7.5Jx16H2 5 x 120. Wheels only, no tires or E24 included. Owner said "Konig", but I'm not sure Dial Elysee is a konig brand.

eeesh,..so sorry to hear about pogo... i think the photo thing is a great idea, though james.

it's weird, though. people see me as a 'killer' because i can put down animals we trap (possum, raccoon, and the like) and think that i am calloused and do not care about domestic animals. it's just different with the domestic 'pets', though. i have no problem dropping one of the pigs or even the cows. the only critter i couldn't dispatch was a young fox (kit), too close to a dog for me, and he was warbling and scared. he just wanted to go home. we sent him to a rehab location. (shh,...it's a super secret place )

i could not, however, allow a pet to endure any sort of suffering. i think that's just cruel. i've seen people throw thousands of $ at a pet only for it to wind up dying anyway after weeks and weeks of torture. i mean, when one needs to keep a diaper on the dog and carry it on its 'walk',...can't see and can hardly stand on its own, that just might be a clue....

anyway.....enough about that.

james, sounds like a great woman.

chad, why not offer the guy some coin for shipping?? (then you can getz shark, too)

also, have been over to the e36ti forum. apparently there is some supercharger goodness in the works as well.

don't worry though, you guys will always be the first to see what's been going on with my build....

but here's a link just in case. some neat stuff. http://www.318ti.org/forum/showthread.php?t=39164

enjoy.

Jon, so sorry about your kitty! Most of the time the extreme treatments do far more for us feeling like we've not given up on them than it does for the pet. It's tough to let them go but usually it's the right thing.

I've contacted the owner to see if he'd ship. I want them myself, but posted them here in case he won't ship. The owner is serious. First person to come by gets them. He put some real MMs on his 6er and just wants to be rid of the ones pictured. He says they have light scratches/curbing but nothing major. PM me your email address and I'll put him in contact with you. I'd gladly pay shipping and a reasonable bonus to get them. Or you could get them for yourself....but they're et20. Won't work on an E36 without serious fender work and/or stretched tires.

EDIT: Owner is shipping them to me.
