Got this ordered today! Great company who spent quite some time with me on the phone and answered all my questions!
Best part is.....no drilling...no mods....bolt to place and done but that's for bike rack use only.

Hi Daryl,
What is the price for the hitch for a 335i? Does it have to be installed by your company? Does the price include installation?

Thanks,

Ron

I'm not him but since I just bought one.....
The price is around 680 including shipping. It doesn't have to be installed by his company.
It is a very simple installation, no drilling etc involved.
However the bumper needs to be removed but it bolts right into the bumper mount or whatever it's called.
Hope that helps you.

Daryl,

FYI regarding my prior message. I have not updated my profile. I am now in Marietta, GA, not San Jose, CA.

The Valley hitch sounds like a nice option but doesn't look like it's currently available...Anybody have any info on where you can find one of these?

I am pretty sure Valley dropped out of the receiver-hitch business.
Btw, pricing on the invisihitch (rack-only version) is now down to $419.
Call in for that pricing... (678) 400-0121

Which model invisihitch would fit a 08 335i coupe?

That would be our E92 hitch... just be sure to specify that you have a 33x model instead of a 32x model. It's the same hitch, but it comes with bolt-on exhaust hangers for both sides when you specify a 33x model (330, 335, etc).

And to get the pricing I quoted, you will need to call in your order until it gets released to the website: (678) 400-0121

I actually have gone through two hitch versions on my 335d. First I imported a westfalia hitch from the UK a couple of years ago and DIY'd that install. It was a great solution. Now that invi****ch's prices are down to $400 I would highly recommend them. Someone rear ended me and cracked my hitch so the insurance company paid for a new one so I directed the auto body shop to invisihitch. I'm very impressed with it and it's been great. BTW I did not install their electrics as I still had mine installed from my previous hitch. If anyone wants them PM me. We can work something out. I don't know if that will save you some money but if it does let me know. It's shame that they are just going to waste in my basement.

Daryl, I need something that I can tow a motorcycle trailer with. What's the difference between the rack only version and the trailer version?

^ The rack-only version of our hitch does not support towing of any kind. It does not even have safety-chain attachment points. It is our least expensive option -- intentionally stripped of all components that are not essential for connecting a rack. So our Rack-Only hitch is a good choice for those who will never have a towing need, but it is not appropriate for those who carry racks AND have an occasional towing need... even if your towing need is lightweight and only occasional. In such cases, you will need our full tow+rack capable hitch.
