Yeah he's dreaming. Same with this beauty. http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv...106311168.html
Don't get me wrong I love msports but they really aren't collector cars yet.

I guess the issue is people are trying to bring the e34 to classic collector status faster than what is actually occurring.
Don't get me wrong. The price goes up... great. I wouldn't bet the farm on it for another decade.
I'd say when the last model year hits 25 year old status. Then you'll begin to see a spike in price. but not now.

BTW like mentioned on facebook I pulled my e34 off the market again.
I know I'm weak. I just keep thinking once I sell it. I'll see it being parted out.
I'd rather see it hit the crusher or be a donor car for my alpina then have that happen.

So I'm done trying. Keeping it till the chassis twists or rusts completely out if not both at the same time.

Yeah I know. The wife laughed at me too and set me straight.
"Why do you keep trying to sell it knowing dayum well you don't want to."

It's good to have the commissioner's (wife) support of my hobby.

I agree it's not my cup of tea. But the rare factor is big on the hurricane interiors.
Even when parted that interior will bring more than the modestly worn leather sport interior.

I love hurrican cloth! You need it in person to appreciate it. Logan's euro m5 had it and it was so nice. You don't have to worry about bolster wear with cloth and it dosent age as bad a leather. And cloth does hold you in the seat better. I would much rather have cloth seats.

First time i opened the door of an E34 and saw it(before i found my 540i) i shut the door, the guy said he would give a great deal just check it out. Yes it was nice i grew to like it instantly. But the car was so trashed, cant believe the interior was so nice. The damage to the body and mechanics was not worth the interior.

F---------ck your hurricain!

Been researching my new seats.. Decided i think i want to go with recaro's instead.

Vader seller's are on crack currently.

And then,... i found this!!!!

The "20 jahre" edition e34 M5 with 2 tone factory recaro's.

Only 20 made, this interior makes your hurricain look more like a light breeze..

Witch leads me to my question.. Can anyone get me some of that ///M style fabric ?
Long shot but hey. Never know

Im picking up 2 Recaro's of that style today i think..

I actually believe that they will look better all black, but that would be cool to wrap the insert in that fabric..

Yes, all black seats with the middle of them in that fabric will look sharp. And an added bonus for weight loss on your car. Keep it up doing great on the project.

Any opinions on the death of Paul Walker? This is really putting me down to be honest. I loved watching the Fast and Furious movies.

Id rather people steer clear of there opinions on the movie as they are mixed.

But Pual Walkers death certainly has upset me as well.. This being the first id heard of it.

It is a shame, he was far to young, And had many more great movies ahead of him.!
He was the passenger! And at the charity event for disadvantaged children when the crash occured.!

May he rest in piece..

I didn't see the movies and didn't know of him. I just briefly read a story on CNN. It sounds so James Dean'ish. It's sad. Somewhere there is a family grieving a loved one.

Snowsled is buying a new sled this year Check out this baby...

It must be fate. I have been wanting one of these VERY badly. It is a 2013 model, which for sleds is last years. The dealers have some left overs but out the door they are coming to 12 grand. This one has 9 miles on it, asking 10k, one year warranty left. I will also save sales tax and whatever extra from beating him down on price a little.

Epic machine. The main bulkhead is an aluminum extrusion, state of the art. The upper chassis tubes are carbon fiber. The suspension arms have aluminum ends bonded to steel tubes. No more chain case to transfer power to the track this uses a toothed belt drive saving wieght and transferring 20% more power to the track. It wieghs 417 lbs which is about 50 lbs less than the current snowsled, and it has more power

We have good snow early this season, there is a foot in my yard and probably 5 feet on the mountain. If all goes well with my purchase today, next weekend I should have fresh snowsled pics to share.

If toyota would base the next gen corolla on that new Scion FR-S thing and made a modern ae86 corolla that would the business ..!

Ive Been saying they need to make it RWD and sick again for years, and it has just occurred to me they now have the chassis.
