E82 / E88 1 Series (2008 - 2013)
BMWs throw back to the iconic 2002, with a renewed form and function. The smallest car in BMW's line up but still packs a punch. Available in coupe or convertible, powered by either an inline 6 in the 128 or the twin turbo rocket sled 135.

The last(?) 1 series convertible

18 days and counting until my wife heads to the Welt to pick up her 128i convertible. Best I can tell, it is one of the last that will be made. Even though we are getting it in late October, it will still be a 2013.

As a previous Z3 owner I'm anxious to get this on the road! We loved our old Z3 and hope this 128 can recapture the fun, with a little room for little kids in the back when needed.

Our total deal price was something around $38,200 for a 128i, alpine white, technology package, leather (but no premium package), heated seats, fineline trim and a moonlight black top. Hopefully that was somewhere around a fair price for European Delivery (frankly its hard for me to tell).

Looking forward to some fun!

And it sounds like you got the right options for any convertible. Heated seats are a must.

Congratulations. I am confident you will enjoy your 128i vert. We have two in the family. I ordered one in 2009 and my wife bought one before we started dating, a 2013. Her's is an automatic without sport suspension but has comfort access and heated seats. We argue all the time about who's is better or faster or prettier. It is clearly my AW manual with sport suspension but she won't admit it. It may seem odd to have two e88s in the same family but neither of us wants to switch to something else.
