Nice, congrats. What year and options? Any interior pics? How are you liking the 10 compared to the 8?

You will get used to the smg. Mine shifts like butter driving around town, and chirps tires at 70 going into third gear, but I have also had the smg pump and clutch replaced in the last year and a half.

Oh and don't drive in D mode. I only use it if it's raining, and I rarely drive the 6 in the rain. My normal settings are P500s, S5, MDM, and Sport suspension. Once you get a feel, learn when to shift in different situations, and let off a little on the gas while shifting unless your going all out and it will be smooth.

Its 2006 I don't know the options cause I don't have the sticker. Silverstone inside + aluminum trim

I'm working on a deal for an f10 M5 at the moment so I might be outta it in less than 2 weeks

I'll take some pics tomorrow.

Wow! Congrats!

http://www.bmwarchive.org/vin/bmw-vin-decoder.html

Just type in the last 7 digits/letters from you VIN and you will get a list of options as well as the actual production date, exterior color code, interior trim type (e.g. wood type) of your vehicle.

LOL I just sold it today and picked up an F10 M5 Orange I just got a dud and couldn't risk it. I can dump this car for another in a year with a rack of miles and still lose the same amount of $ if I'd done the major repairs it felt like I had coming.
