540i M44 MAF internal diameter?

I'm trying to pin down the characteristic flow curve for a Bosch HFM2 MAF sensor in a 3.25" ID housing. The largest housing ever used with a HFM2 sensor was on a 98 540i M44. I'm not too sure on the specifics of what other cars/years it may have been used on (I'm a BMW noob), but I do know the max flow it could measure was around 1040 KG/h (288.9 g/s) and it is 3.5" OD.

I extracted the MAF curve from a stock binary; all I need to know is the internal diameter of the measurement venturi. With that information I can just multiply the curve by the difference in cross sectional areas.

I believe the part numbers are: BMW p/n 13 62 1 702 078; Bosch p/n 0 280 217 800.

Thanks!

And, your point is?

Go here, enter the BMW P/N, and the site will tell you where else the housing is used. www.realoem.com

I'm not trying to make a point, I just would like to know the internal diameter of the MAF/AFM/HFM used on a 540i V8.

Awesome, thanks for the information. My custom housing is 3.25" so I guess the difference in flow is due to the intake setup.
