Any 6er owners want to meet at the Village Roaster in Woodland Hills/Calabasas around 12 noon this Sunday? It's close to my house, near Mulholland Highway, and after a cup or two (Beewang you owe me a cup), we can drive the 28 miles on Mulholland Highway (not Mulholland Drive) to the Pacific Ocean.

If so, please post here and then PM me and I will give you my number and further directions. We will be in 3 groups: 'Snappers, Tweeners and Geezers. I want to see Beewang's SMG 650i and find out what he's been quacking about.

Cool I Wish

Gentlemen:

I can't make it... I live too far away.

Have fun anyway. Oh by the way, my 650i is in but since I travel to SC to performance drive tomorrow I decided to pick it up on Tuesday the 20th!

Kewl!

This Sunday would work for me, however, the meeting time has to move up. 12:00 PM is just WAY too late for any type of meeting/driving.

We really need to meet at 6:00 am ~7:00 am. This is important because of traffic issue. Anything later than that you will run into traffic.

Shall we make this official??

Unhappy

I can't make it until January. I take off for two weeks in Texas tomorrow. If anyone wants to plan one for January, count me in.

Bee

Sunrise is 6:52 on Sunday. http://www.sunrisesunset.com/calenda...05&time_type=0

So why don't you make the call: Location and time. You are, after all, the senior member in tenure on this Board, and a Mod. There really wil be very little traffic on Mulholland Highway, or Pacific Coast Highway at that time. I can plot out a trip that we can input in our nav systems if you would like. (The nav kinda changes things for rallye drivers, doesn't it?)

And I would suggest a meet in in January. How about the Monday observance of ML King's birthday? That one I think most people can make, especially if we do it in advance. I want to get Phunkfarm down here. But by then he'll probably have his 6er lowered, re-exhausted, re-wheeled and re-badged. Maybe Jon can pull some strings with BMW NA and borrow an M6 for the day. (Once again, there will be little traffic unless it is unseasonably hot.)

So, Bee, we are waiting to hear from you.

Okay... let's do one in January.

For this weekend, let's do 6:30AM at the Starbucks in Calabasas Common:

101 freeway, exit Parkway Calabasas
to Calabasas Road, travel South to the corner
of Calabasas Road and Commons Way.

4799 Commons Way, Calabasas, CA 91302

StarBucks is right by Corner Bakery.

Let's set to chit-chat from 6:30AM ~7:30AM

At 7:30 AM we leave for a quick drive.

Bring an FRS radio for communication if you got one. Let's set it for channel 6 (get it??!! )

Please post on this thread if you can make it.

Cheers,

beewang

I'll be there, Bee. I will feel a little guilty as it's only a few miles from my house, even closer as the crow flies (but I don't fly a crow).

Man... you guys are killing me with 6:30, but I'll be there (probably at 7am). It's almost as bad as leaving at 5:30AM to get down to Crystal Cove in the OC for the Saturday car meet (highly recommend it if you haven't gone before).

I don't have to get up until 6:15 a.m. But the day before I'm getting up to go hunting at 4:45. And, my car will be limping down to Starbucks with a broken iDrive or iDrive screen. Maybe Bee can fix it with a magic touch.

Gary you really need to prioritize, i mean seriously. How could you pick your child over a 6er meet? This is preposterous.

I am just as pathetic, had to do xmas shopping.

I do not know what is worse, the malls this weekend, or an iDrive crash.

I tried that with the wife, and I received the cold stare Then she started throwing around words like "alimony" and "child support"
