Eyebrows on headlights

Has anyone had any success at changing the "yellowish" eyebrow lights to a white light?

Several threads dedicated to this and the angel eyes, as they use the same bulb/light source.

I've actually looked into just getting painted eyelids that go over the "brows".

Badass. How did you do this? Just tape off the rest and spray it? Is it really that easy?

yea very easy, as you said, just tape it and spray but remove the tape before it dries for a clean cut . I also put glossifier to make it shiny and match the paint more.

Is your car Jet Black?

I'd be curious to see any close ups you might have, as mine is Black Sapphire Metallic. I wonder how the Plastidip would look.

Mine is black sapphire too, you won't know that much of a difference especially because mine has matter black wheels and chrome accents, I will take some close ups and pot it here by the end of the day so you can see.

I did this on my previous 7 with carbon fiber wrap. It looks nice on black cars.

HaHa! Thanks. Ya I did it 2.5 years ago and the first time I saw it on other cars trickling out was at Bimmerfest this year. Guess I finally set a trend with my former real BMW vs my current Kia.

I replaced the angel eyes with the MTEC and they look great but the eyebrow portion is still yellowish. I did a search and could find anything specific to just the eyebrows. Do I need to get another pair of the same thing I used on the angel eyes and put into the other socket area that is next to the angel eyes socket?

Thanks for the assist

I believe the eyebrow has a bulb which can't be removed unless you open up the headlamp assembly and it can't be turned off via coding which sucks.

I was under the impression it's the same light source as the angel eyes. I felt like I noticed a difference in eyelid color when I changed the angel eyes...
