Cool Random Shots w/ TXSTYLE (cloudy days)

It has been overcast bigtime here in the N. Texas area since yesterday. We are expecting tons o rain tomorrow. Thought I'd take this opportunity for a photo-op since my girl hardly ever sees rain or days like this...

Not bad for some camera phone pics ehh?

Jeez, don't you ever drive that thing?? I can't believe how clean you keep the front bumper and interior of your wheels.

Gorgeous!

Damn front plate drilling dealerships...I don't know how they can do that to such an expensive car. These manufacturers design cars that can sense an oncoming accident from two car lengths away, but they can't figure out a way to make a non-invasive license plate holder?

Mine was bought off the lot so it was drilled as well. I picked up a pack of tiny 1/8" pvc plastic plugs with flat tops that I'm going to coat in touch-up paint and cap the holes in my bumper. Since these goons use self-tapping screws instead of drilling, the plastic is usually pulled out a bit and needs to be drilled out with a slightly larger drill bit. I saw some company called bumperplugs was selling a similar item but theirs are way too big and look ridiculous. If I don't like how this comes out I'll just get a Euro tag and have it match my rear tag info. The black with chrome lettering tags they use in singapore look pretty good on mineral white.

If anyone remembers SAMLAMBO, this guy had the plate I'm talking about it. I'd rather have a clean bumper with no b/s on it but if I need something I guess this is better than a big US tag.

The car is stunning and definitely has “presence”.

Rain sure does suck, but be thankful, we has snow flurries the other day.

Adam, I hear ya bruh. It really is one of the most stupidass things dealerships do!
Now granted, most if not all states have some law regarding front plates including the great state of TX. It has been my own personal experience, the law is RARELY enforced. It usually can be motive to pull over cars though legitimately. I have NEVER used a front plate and I have owned at least 10 cars in my lifetime.
As far as these tiny holes go, I can live with em... I guess.

Thanks bro. Even though the euro style plate is sweet, another reason I don't like any type of plate on the front of my car besides looks is something many of you may not even consider... Plates are a "highly reflective surface"! I have a heavy foot and popo are in full affect around here.

Here are the little suckers I'm going to paint and push into the holes after I flatten the uneven plastic that remains from the self-tapping screws. Pretty tiny so shouldn't be noticeable.

Is that a Rear Windshield Spoiler on your car? If so, where did you get it and how do you like the quality? I saw one the other day and I like the look.

Yes it is. I've had one on for of my cars. I really like the subtle sporty touch it adds.
I will have to get back to you on where I got it and name...

Marcus - be careful with no front plates - the reason you never got pulled over before is because, even though there was a law requiring front plates in Texas, the legislature failed to assign a specific fine for a violation. That all changed on Sep 1 this year, where now it is $200 and gives the 5-0 plenty of revenue-producing reasons to ruin your day.

I hate it too - I can't stand the thought of drilled bumpers, but so be it. I bought a cool attachment for my 911 that screws into the tow hook on the bumper from US Millworks - no bumper holes on that one for me.
