lol I just pointed it out that the SMG in the M5 (I'd have hoped you'd have been able to differentiate between current f10 and older ones) as its a step back....

I said that I don't think this car (or any other cars) are going to see a significant price drop from the release of the F8x. No matter how good it is, some people will still want the V8. I didn't say it WOULDN'T drop, just that if you want to wait until the F8x is released to "snap up a bargain" you may be sorely disappointed. I've driven an F30 and have an E90... I sincerely do not like the F30 very much from a styling perspective, and I don't find the interior materials to be as good. It doesn't speak to me like the E90 does.
It would have been far more beneficial to say it that way. It came off at least in my "observation" like these were instant classics when really nobody knows they could plummet, hold or rise like the 1m. Nobodies insulting anyone

Does anyone miss not having HUD in the M3?

It is available in the M5 and M6.

Is accelerated depreciation an issue for this M3 model with the completely redesigned F80 coming soon?

Depends nobody knows...I had about a month of car shopping when my 335i got hit to find a ride[this was 5 months ago], there were very very few used M3's in my area (maybe 5-10).. I count 33 now.

The smart move would be to assume it'll take a hit. This isn't like the 1M where there are so few of them that they've increased or stayed insanely high.

Are you sure that this is going to happen in the near term? As the stock of pre-owned cars is depleted and with no new cars in the pipeline, the price of M3s is going up in my neighborhood.

If I was looking into the F8x gen...I'd look into the sedan. I don't like the way the coupe looks, and I can't believe I just said that.

I never found the auto stop/start button on this car, a 2013 coupé with a M-DCT. Where would be this button?

I believe under the start/stop is the new standard for them. All I know is that it's defaulted OFF and I've never even tried the button before.
