Custom order pricing

Will custom order pricing the same from different dealership? or the pricing still need to be negotiated accordingly? What's the common consensus of custom order pricing discount?

Each dealership negotiates according to their own policies, so the price you get will vary. If the price is the same, that's a coincidence.

This is true for sales from inventory as well as sales from order.

Demand for a particular model or scarcity (each dealer has an allocation for each model and engine combo) will also factor in, probably more so for customer order vehicles as for inventory vehicles. But this probably does not effect things as much as whether the dealer is making their sales goals for the month .

I look at other things in addition to just price when choosing a dealership, even though they may not give me the best rock bottom price.

I bought my first new X3 off the lot because I needed a vehicle and am sorry I did (did not get Euro delivery, did not get satellite). I ordered my second new X3 and I am glad I did - got just the options that I wanted.

negotiate dollars up from invoice pricing is always the best.
04 Successfully lobbied BMW NA and BMW FS to prohibit dealers from using residual values based upon Euro Delivery MSRP and to use US MSRP saving BMW Enthusiasts several thousand dollars on each lease
