Monrovia BMW worst

New to BMW and already experienced bad customer service. Just cant believe that I have had better customer service from Kia and Chevy. lol On the serious side though Monrovia is probably the worst. I took my 2013 f10 535 for service something was acting up with shifter. On red lights it will go into parking or neutral by itself. My wife is now scared to drive. Myself I think is a safety issue. Anyways, I told service writer, sorry forgot his name, can it be checked out? He was very rude and said they wont look at it till tomorrow. I told him its ok I will just need a way back home. He replied "Go ahead" and walked away. Then I asked do you have any type of loaner program for the time my car is being looked at? He then said there is car rentals like enterprise you can call. SERIOUSLY!!!!! I was even embarrassed for asking. I just asked for my key and left.

I just couldn't believe how rude this service writer was at this location. Another thing is BMW does not provide loaner cars when your brand new car is being looked at? Cant Believe Chevy can loan you a car, and the same model, when I get mine in service. do you guys think this is just at this dealership or all of them.

I had a similar experience with Monrovia BMW. I now have my car serviced at Center BMW in Sherman Oaks, great service and attention. Ask for Brian Douglas, he takes great care of me every time I go in.

You need to find another dealer -- there are a plethora of them in SoCal and you should have no trouble finding one that will give you much better service than you have had. Dealers provide loaners, but not all have a lot of them, so some rentals are available as well. Indeed, some dealers have an Enterprise desk right in the shop area. My experience has been (here in NorCal) to call first and so far have had no problem getting a BMW loaner for my repairs. Call around and you will find a good service center!

Yup, had the same experience when they were Assael BMW back 10 years.
Now that they are part of the Sonic Automotive group, they are just as awful.

Treated me with awful disdain after having my car broken into over the weekend and stuff taken. They didn't care....

Complained to the GM and parent company but didn't really help.

Monrovia BMW is just as awful as before.
