Warning lights!

Ok now I'm getting pi55ed off with this car!!

Got the expansion tank fitted so that's sorted but now I was just driving and all of a sudden the ABS, Tyre pressure, 4x4 and brake warning lights are all amber!

Car seems to be driving fine but really not sure what's going on!

Have you checked your battery? Just went through a similar spell, and the odd faults were due to diminishing voltage.

I have a volt meter and it was showing 13.9v when running. Maybe take it to kwikfit and get them to do a test. The car only gets used for short journeys and when it overheated it was on ignition for a lot of the time without the engine running,

You think that could be the problem?

I just took out a warranty yesterday on the car, but I fear they may think I'm at it!!

I have read on this forum before that short hops are tough on the battery--but perhaps that holds true for any car. I honestly don't know.

Some cars can take that - but BMW's prosper on vigorous exercise.

Yes.

Battery is weak. You should get a reading of about 14.2V - 14.4V when running.

13.8V immediately after shutting it off, and then 12.6V - 12.8V when it has rested a bit.

That would explain the Brake, ABS and 4x4 lights.

Not sure about the flat tire warning - that might be for real.

Warning lights!

Just got the battery checked and the battery came back fine.

Tried to see if I could hear the clicking noise from the transfer box but it's silent.

Was thinking it could maybe a wheel speed sensor?

Would explain abs and 4x4 lights and also the low tire pressure light.

Looks like I will have to take it to bmw :0(
