Mein Auto: Some Bavarian car outside
The '02 X5 4.4i rapidly approaching 200K.
A few issues awaiting a nice open weekend, otherwise running sweet as a daily driver.

my baby

2006 BMW X5 4.4i, 6 speed auto got brembo brakes all around, painted the stock 18s black, installed LED angel eyes, PIAA off road lights, and plastidipped the badges black. Il be doin a bit of a lift, bigger tires, a new sound system, rigid lights, new exhaust, stage 2 AFE intake. First non diesel pickup truck, and I gotta say (aside for costly maintenance) these things are SAWEET.

Your OE Xenon lights are far superior than those aftermarket junk.
Wheels are not my style and look to be the same size as the stockers.

Sorry I don't like them since the original are better.

You are right about the original headlights being better & the wheels are the same size as the Originals which I still have.....I was just changing up the look.......beauty is in the eye of the beholder because most people that have seen the changes truly like it better.....oh well.

tmvE39/E53/Z32 I really like your headlights. Did you bake your lights and put in those angel eyes or its aftermaket headlights?

They are the aftermarket Spyder headlights with black housing. They seems pretty hard to find nowadays. The AEs are CCFL and wired as DRL.

That is interesting for the person who stated that aftermarket lights were Junk.......hmmm but below is the link for those lights.

Didn't quite make 200,000 miles before going down for the 200K maintenance.
She's at 198,XXX. The front CV joint boots had been torn for a while, and it just started to make the dreaded clicking noise while turning, so we had to put her down.

Now it's time for timing chains and guides, along with new CV joints and control arms with polyurethane bushings, new brakes, struts, and VANOS solenoids and adjustments to stop the minor clatter that came back, new oil pan gaskets (upper and lower) seals, plugs, coils, O2 sensors, and whatever else I see in there. I'm still awaiting parts, but they're coming.

Right now it's down for a while, but she will be back for another 200,000.
Wish me luck.

That is what I said about your particular "new" headlights. Truth is they (aftermarket ones) all are bad in term of lighting the road, until you swap the projectors for some quality Xenon ones. At least my old Spyder headlights with replacement projectors perform on par with OEM Xenon, if not better.
Wish I can say the same to your "new" ones.

A 4.8L v8 that redlines at 7k rpm is something to appreciate! Picked my 06 4.8is up 2 weeks ago. I'm in love. And I can drink beers on the tailgate.
