Alternator

I will be attempting to clean my engine bay and will be using a hose to wash it. I was wondering where the alternator is and if it was capable of getting water on it. I donít want to mess it up and I am unsure where it is located. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is on the driver side of the engine. You can get it wet, but don't soak it and don't wet it down while the car is running. That will cause alternator damage.
Unless your engine is extremely dirty I would advise against spraying off the engine.
