F22 / F23 2 Series (2014 - Current)
The 2 Series coupe is the replacement for the E82/E88 1 series coupe. Production starts in November 2013 on the 228i (N20) and M235i (N55) coupes. Look for them in dealerships in February 2014. The convertible F23 2 series will follow in the fall of 2014.

Yes, I have had one for a while, got the first one my dealership had. I have dealt with the same guys since 1995. Are you having a problem getting one?

Sounds like a heavy car, is this the 335i?

Any idea why there's no LSD option for the 228i?

I can see at least one good use for LSD in everyday life - hard left/right turns from stop light or stop sign. Each time I do it my inside rear wheel squeals, which is very annoying because everyone turns their head and thinks you're a reckless driver.

As for tracking, it is $$$, plain and simple. Brakes, tires, upgrades, etc. Even if you drive BMW, it does not mean you can drop $500-1000 on track day.
