Mein Auto: 1985 318i
so I recently bought a 1985 318i. Its fuel pump was just having issues so I replaced it with a new one. I cranked it over for about 10-15 minutes, no fuel was making it to the engine. First things first double checked that I had gas and I hooked up the pump correctly. those were fine so my buddy check to see if the pump turned on when I cranked it over, and it did so it turns on. the next step we tried was detaching the fuel line from the rail and when it cranked over no fuel came out. So we move closer to the pump. We decided to do it right behind a part I'm not sure of the name but it looks like a mini fuel filter. this part is right past the pump and the fuel goes through it before it continues through the lines. so we disconnected right behind it and tried to crank it, to see if fuel would come out. no fuel did there was small amounts of pressure when cranking but not very much. we double checked that it was hooked up properly. Oh and the fuses and wiring is ok as well. I've googled it and tried to find something like this happening any ideas.

Question Stop cookies from clearing ?

I only use my one PC to access this site, but do not always have the time to read through all threads on this particular forum.
Next time I log on I do not know where I left off, as all cookies get deleted when I log out.
This is most irritating
I have enabled the remember me button at log-in.
Is there another setting that I can change
Other sites do not do this using Firefox.

Re: E30 Resource Thread

My phone does that, both my PCs do that regardless of what browser I use. VERY annoying. I've got cookies allowed and it does no good. My phone is the worst. I am usually dropped into a thread 5-10 PAGES behind where I left off. And the Android app for Bimmerfest crashes constantly. All these problems started when the app was "upgraded" months ago. I wish I could go back to the previous version. I never had any trouble with it, ever, at all.

New Guy for E30's

Hi. I'm Clyde. I'm new here and need/want to learn about the E30 in particular, which I may be acquiring soon. This looks like the right place.

Currently selling my '03 EB Expedition and when she's sold, have been offered a friend's 1990 325is 5-spd sunroof coupe said to be in pretty good condition. I've only yet seen a photo.

I'd post the photo, but I don't yet know how to upload one from my own files. The "insert" buttton above wants a hyperlink, hmm, let's see...

Did that work?

Has anyone tried replacing the cluster lights with LEDs? Figure if I have to replace the ODO gears I might as well upgrade the lighting and paint the needles.
