1969 BMW 1600/2 Rust free SoCal car.

1969 BMW 1600, urban barn find with matching numbers. Caribe Blue with Black interior shows in a very original state with no rust in floor pans, pedal box or shock tower mounts! Very straight body, engine starts and seems very strong. No evidence of any prior body work or accident damage. Car has had ancillary items removed like grill, bumpers, belt line trim, carpets, front seats. Car is complete less the following: rear bumper, belt line trim, drivers side view mirror and the windshield has a chip and will need to be replaced. Car appears to have all original paint that is in chalky condition. Comes with rare FrigiKing AC Condenser unit/housing. This 1600 is a great candidate for new paint, interior and weather seals or full on restoration: however you could put it on the road with a minimum of work. Car is registered non-operational status and there are no DMV back fees. Odometer reads 28K miles, but guessing she has 128k miles. Car is located in the Silverlake neighborhood of Los Angeles and can be viewed during normal business hours Monday-Saturday. $3,750
