Climb to the Clouds 6, June 23 in the White Mountains of NH

As a resident of the area this trip goes into I hope to be able to participate this coming year.

I've also been to Team O'Neil rally school and taken my car on a hot lap on their roads. I would love to get back there in any way I can, it is such a great place and Tim's enthusiasm for rally is endless and quite contagious.

I would like to suggest an additional road to incorporate if you can, Rt 113 from Holderness to Tamworth, it's curvy, hilly and fantastic. Also very little attention from the "locals." It's not far from I93 and ends not too far from the east end of the Kanc.

Anyway I hope to be able to bring my wagon along on this years drive, if not, honk on your way by my house!

Any chance of engaging Team O'Neil for hot lap charity rides? I know I'd bid on a few laps at the charity auction.

Good idea!

I'll contact them to arrange it.

At last years visit we conversed with Tim O'Neil. He was open to the idea of hot laps for the Survive The Drive Charity. He was pleased we came to visit him and how we are supporters of better driving through Survive The Drive.

Returning guest star, me, will be there. That in and of itself is enough reason for people to attend.

I am booked.

Arrive Friday (roughly 3-4AM).
Staying at the main hotel until Monday.

BTW - I do expect the entourage to greet me at arrival time. A glass of Laphroaig (neat), cheeses, and olives shall do nicely.

Wow, eager to arrive at the MWH. You may want to look into early check-in.

I am staying the the main hotel as well. I can offer a drink at the bar. You'll need to find another resource for the entourage and trimmings.

Well, no weddings this year (just birthdays) so I just finished my booking at the Omni Mt. Wash for 2 nights.

I'll also be arriving Friday (not as early as Furby). Though if you could hold over the same greeting party, it would earn big points for my opinion of the weekend!

Upon making reservations, they only had 2 night blocks available with the Bimmerfest group code. I'll need to find a place to crash for Sunday night. I'm open for recommendations.

P.S. looking forward to a face to face w/ the goat!

You should be able to book Sunday at the group rate. I'll call the hotel tomorrow and double check.

Don't forget to go to www.climbtotheclouds.org and register for the event.

Alright, since sleep tends to evade me most early mornings, I have now officially registered Team Bemo for C2C6! Looking forward to seeing the "repeat offenders" and meeting new folks.

Most of all, I'd like to check out Furby's new electro-wussified 335!

Next is enduring the expected 12-18" of snow and the "CYA" snow emergency declared by our mayor. That and helping the occasional cars that tend to get stuck on our somewhat elevated street that seems deceptively easy to conquer on a snowy day!

Marking it on the calendar to mull it over. Long drive, but worth it! Probably best to do it before the 328i completely falls apart. With two kids in tow, it'll be a 5 year old Accord next time around.

Come on C-dub. If Nordic-Katness can do it, so can you!

Kat's situation is a tiny bit different from mine. We're talking about the possibility of trekking together though. Only thing that really is holding me back is that it'd be a stretch for my wife to make this, considering the age of the littlest C-Dub.

Can't you stick baby c-dub in a box and fedex him to the hotel? he can sit on the veranda sipping scotch!

I was hoping that once Furby got married, he would get a little more insight into where babies come from.

It was $3.25 option that I figure'd to spring for. Image displayed is for a well-equipped box. Some models may vary.
