My E46 M3 convertible came with Dinan exhaust system. If I change it to stock M3 exhaust will it be quieter inside the cabin?

I can't exactly give you the exact decibels...it should be noticeably quieter. You're probably hearing a lot more of the exhaust than coupe owners because you have a soft top. Changing out the exhaust to OEM will probably eliminate your issue because stock exhausts are very tame.

Thanks for the input. I am getting used to it and liking more & more specify on the down shifting.

Question, outside the top. To remove the rear pumper liner to change PDC sensor are there any thing to be aware of. It should be strain forward

I'm not sure, hopefully an E46 guy will come buy and tell you about that. I myself have a 2011 M3 so I wouldn't know
