clutch fluid leak

hey im new to bmw and I have just got a 1979 bmw 323i and I need to find a leak in my line for the clutch fluid I have not fully assessed the leak yet any ideas?

Pull back the boots and see if you have fluid leaking from slave or master. If there is any fluid rebuild as required. Bleed the system then stand on the pedal while some one watches for leaks. That should cover it.

I've just changed my wiper blades and now my reverse lights don't work. Should I change my fuel pump relay?

E21's clutches are wonderfully simple If the clutch works I'd replace the line from the reservoir to the master cylinder since the brakes and clutch share a common reservoir it can also be a brake leak.. either way I'm betting on the cloth covered hose going to the master cyl. Oh the master cyl will leak on your foot and floor (it'll get worse in the cold weather) inside the car and the slave will leak on the ground.
