Cylinder True Running Value

Hello friends, I used to hang out here more often when I had my E65. I bought a 2009 F01 last year with 16k miles on it and now have 23k miles on it. So now I am more often on that forum. Definitely more people on this forum that work on their own cars....that being said, I need your help.

My car started running rough at idle and felt like it was going to die at red lights. I scanned the car and it said misfire cylinder 8. I ran some Techron fuel injector cleaner through it and the idle smoothed out dramatically. When I look at each cylinder true running value, all are close to zero except cylinder 8 which is -6.00 and higher. Any idea what this means? Bad injector? Thanks in advance.

It's a different car (e39) but here they talk about a bad spark plug causing it and there is also mention of the coils.

Thanks for the link. I am curious what the number means. Does positive mean the fuel is too rich and negative mean running too lean?

Hope its not a bad injector. Last guy blew motor, bent crank rod and damaged piston. Seems 09-10 few peeps had bad Injector problems. There is a thread just posted recently. Hope its not the samr type of problem.

F01/02 have had multiple inejctor redesigns over the last few years. Get yourself some new ones and try it out. Also I suggest buying a new coil pack that you can use in the future for troubleshooting.

Thanks for the replies guys...guess I'm going to replace all injectors, coils, and plugs. Can't believe I have to do this on a car with 23k miles. Any idea what the numbers mean either positive or negative? Lean or rich?
