your rims are not staggered, so I assume the were mass produce, if so; pay extreme close attention to the hub, the rims are not hub centric for the BMW so the move at high speeds.

Definitely needs spacers in the front. Wheels aren't too my likings but as long as you do then that's all that matters. Thanks for sharing

I have 265/30/22 Front and 295/25/22 in the Rear, no issues.
Find a shop that has a Hunter Road Force machine and have them balance your wheels. At the very least they will discover if your rims or tires have an issue.

Not many shops have this machine, It solved my issues.

you might have a defective tire I had a similar issue on my Benz the only way you will find out if its a bad tire/wheel is if you have someone with a ROAD FORCE machine that knows how to use it tell you, I was chasing a similar problem for months and ended up changing everything (shocks ball joints bushing...) and still had an annoying shake, I took it to a regular wheels shop that told me I had 2 bad tires (tires had 1000 miles on them) I called up Tire Rack and after a bit of fighting they sent me 2 new tires in exchange, I still had a shake but not as bad, finally took it to a guy that had Road Force and told me that one of the new tires was also deffective. I just ended up selling the wheel/tire package and bought a new set and never had an issue again

the tire they said had a hard spot is on the rear drivers side. that shouldn't cause the steering to shake. I have 22 inch rims with 245-30-22 lexani tires on them. they are not staggered. the car didn't shake like this before but has always had a hesitating take off but once I get going it drives fine. 2005 bmw 745 Li. help your brother out some more please.

You could throw stocks on and drive it. If the noise still occurs its probably a bad wheel bearing. Thats my guess one way or the other but a bad tire can cause various noises and shakes too which is why i suggest mounting stock wheels as a test.

Sounds like a good idea. When I bought the car the wheels the car had on it the tires were wore out bad but I think I'm gonna try it anyway

Not here to offend anyone, but this has been one of the most difficult threads I have tried to read and understand in a very long time. So many grammar and typing errors.

If your car vibrates go to a shop that has a Hunter Road Force Balancer and knows how to use it. Make sure they are willing to spend the time to do a full proper road force balance which may include dismounting the tire to reposition it on the wheel to bring the road force number down and for an overall better balance. If they are only charging you $10-$20 per wheel, or if they are done with all 4 wheels in half and hour they are not doing it right.

If it took them a good amount of time, these are some questions you want to ask them.

- Are your wheels hub centric?
- Are - were your wheels out of balance?
- Did any of the wheels require and excessive amount of weight to zero out?
- Are your wheels bent or out of round?
- Do the tires have any flat spots, bubbles or out of round?
- Did any of the wheel and tire assemblies show excessive road force? If so, was the issue fixed within spec?
- Are any of the suspension and steering components in good working order?
- Last but not least, are brake rotors warped?

I ran into a situation in the past were the brake rotors were not warped, but replacing them got rid of the vibrations.

If all of these are positive answers and conditions, your car should not be vibrating.

Wow! They look great. Did you add spacers? Have you rolled your fenders? My 22's scrape the dices of my wheel wells on my 745i do I need spacers and a fender roll?
