I just bought 2nd 2013 X3 F25 2.0i 7000km milage , it equip with a engine start stop button, but is it equip with keyless entry too? Because i have to push the remote to unlock and lock my car, ussually a car with engine start stop buttons also equip with keyless entry, just put hand on door handle and it will unlock the car. Is it a malfunction? Or my car isn't equip with keyless entry system? Thanks

ALL BMWs for 2013 use the stop-start button without requiring the fob to be inserted in a slot in the steering column. But only BMWs equipped with Comfort Access can be unlocked, opened, and locked without pressing any buttons on the key fob.

Push start button has been on the X3 since the redesign in 2011. Sounds like yours is not equipped with comfort access.

The word is "equipped." Not to mention "usually."

There would be a serrated texture on the top of the front exterior door handles if you have comfort access.
