Anyone replace center console trim 2014 535 I Xdrive

I was wondering if anyone has removed or replaced the center console trim yet.
I bought my car used and there is a scratch on the center console aluminum trim on the passenger side. I bought a replacement piece but not sure if I want to do it or have it replaced by dealer. Looking to see how difficult and if there are instructions out there.

Appreciate any help.

I remembered searching once about the possibility for replacing the cup holders with a regular storage area, and I stumbled on this post about removing the center console trim:

It seems to be for a right hand drive, but it'll be obviously similar for a left hand drive.

Thank you Alex. I just pulled off the cover of the key for my center glove box and saw the bolt referenced in the thread. Looks like I am good to go. My only concern is I got the 2014 and the thread looks like an earlier year. I checked out the clips on the new piece and studied how they snap in and are configued. My only concern is when I pry the old trim piece off, I do not break the places where the new clips will attach.

I will work on this over the weekend. Thank you sir!
