Anyone aware of any changes for 2015?

I was wondering if there has been any information with regards to possible changes for the 2015 model year? Was planning on ordering within the next month or so, but wondering if it might be beneficial to hold out for the 2015 model year? (Ignoring the obvious issue of ordering a new vehicle so close to the end of the model year).

I would assume there will be a minimal increase in price...but wondering what may be available/standard that isn't now (e.g. Apple CarPlay)

Thanks!

Not sure about Apple CarPlay or other things but full LCD/TFT instrument cluster is almost certain. My dealer and some other dealers (at least here in Europe) confirmed that. They say it should be available in September.

I don't think Apple Car play will be available until the year 2015 or middle of it.. Just remember that 2015 model year could start soon. My 2013 model year was built in April 2012.

I am thinking about extending my current lease to see what LCI brings to the table for the new X5

I was told by the salesman I spoke with that MY2014 production ends July 14th.

I honestly would just order now.. I wouldn't wait until 2015 production starts..

That's just me though. Try doing research via dealership(s) since it is YOUR hard earned money, and come to a conclusion based on your research.
Btw please order m sport

it will be MSport Boss_John, sorting out modest options now, prob in 66-67 range. Don't want to order to early to avoid two payments and hoping incentives arrive.

No changes that are substantial.

AirPlay may come, but nothing official has been released to dealers yet.

Production running changed likes wheels or trim offerings are most likely if anything.

Full TFT hahaha I doubt that. 6wb hasnt even been available for most of the lineup soo minus 7 or 6

We won't have any confirmed details for MY 2015 for a couple more weeks, probably right around the NY Auto show. Production is scheduled to start in July but keep in mind that any changes for MY 2015 might not be available right away either. Some varians of the MY 2015 X3 has limited color and option choices for April production.

Wouldn't the pricing be a factor, when '15 starts getting pushed, buyer might expect a better deal on '14 model, if you see lease offers, year old model (even if it is few months old) always had a better pricing on lease. Also, while there might not be substantial changes on model/build, I am hoping there will be better package options, now it seems that packages are all or nothing, they are bundling useless options with useful options unless you want to add piece by piece. Compared to 2012, if you remember, convenience package in X5 Premium line is now split into different packages and options. I hope those will return on 2015 model.

I heard rumors of a triple-turbo in-line V6.

What is an in-line V6? Heard of inline-6 and V6, but the hell do the two combined look like.
