2013 328i demo car - Good deal?

Went looking for a new 3-series at the dealership and stumbled across a demo 328i (dont think its a CPO) that looked tempting.

2013 328i automatic
11,000 miles
No line
Driver Assistance Plus Package
Tech Package
Cold Weather Package
Msport steering wheel

The MSRP was $46,300
and they offering for $35,775

Would this be a good deal? Does anyone have any experience demo cars or is it better to stay away?

Some loaners and demos have another CPO product that goes an extra year and to 75K miles instead of 100k. Also, if you are leasing the car the residual is adjusted down by 20 cents/mile over the first 500 miles. Some dealers in San Diego have 2014 loaners for sale under this program (diesels too)...although the asking prices are outrageous. (10% off MSRP which is what you can get on a new car) Foir a 2013 I would think your deal sounds very good at about 25% off

I got a 2013 demo, 328i xDrive, MSRP 42,500, sale price 33,500. It had 4k miles on it, but was sold to me as "new" because I was the first owner. I put $725 aq fee plus $399 first month payment. $399 month lease, 12k miles per year, 36 month lease. That seems like a lot of miles for a demo car, and also it makes no sense why it would be preowned if you are the first owner. Demo's usually have around 3-4k miles on them, not 11k.

Sometimes cars that are used as "demos" for customers, but are also taken home at night
and on weekends by dealership managers and/or employees are still called "demos". In such
cases 11,000 miles is not excessive. In the OP's case, he is being offered a one year old
used car with appropriate one year mileage that has presumably been maintained all along
by the dealership. The asking price for the car seems like a good deal. Checking Carfax and/or
service records would be prudent.

I recently bought a 2013 328i xDrive demo with the following:

11k miles
Sport Line
Premium Package
Cold Weather Package
Navigation
Black Sapphire metallic paint.

Paid $36k before tax, etc and trade in.

I'd say you could do a little better. And the car has been flawless.

I agree that you can do a bit better on the price.

If you dare, you could ask for that same price with CPO.
