X5 F15 (2014 - Current)
The all new F15 BMW X5 started production August 2013 as a 2014 model year. The new X5 arrives in sDrive35i (RWD), xDrive35i, xDrive50i and a diesel xDrive 35d.

Where to get best prices. Equity on current '11 x5d?

The wife's '11 x5d lease is coming up at end of this month and we're considering going for a new f15 in diesel or V8. Is anyone getting invoice plus $1K on these new f15s? I put in some calls to a few dealers in the LA area and it sounds like there's not a lot of inventory/eagerness to deal.

Her current x5d only has 22K miles on it, so if we can't find a decent deal, we'll likely buy this one and then try again next year when my f10 lease is up. I hate the idea of taking a chance on a first year model production AND paying too close to MSRP BECAUSE it's a new model...

Appreciate any advice.

Check out the pricing thread, $1000 over invoice (or better) is doable with the right timing and dealer. Definitely different pricing in different regions, but So Cal is very competitive if you believe the postings on deals.

Here in norcal you might be able to find. I paid 1500 over invoice on a custom one.

Just did the same thing, trading in my wife's 2011 x5d for a new x5 35i. While I didn't get a great price ($1000 off sticker), I did get a very good number for our 2011 x5 (top end of KBB trade value) which made the deal more palatable. Order allocations were tight at my dealer, as I have to wait for a May slot.
