F22 / F23 2 Series (2014 - Current)
The 2 Series coupe is the replacement for the E82/E88 1 series coupe. Production starts in November 2013 on the 228i (N20) and M235i (N55) coupes. Look for them in dealerships in February 2014. The convertible F23 2 series will follow in the fall of 2014.

There is a lot going on that you don't even know. Sit in your car for fifteen minutes after you shut down and you will hear engine gnomes going to work.

Nothing to stress about, it's under warranty regardless. But those motors tend to be a little noisy until they warm up.

Turbos tend to get very hot and after u shut off the car the cooling and circulation is still on inside until the engine goes to a much favorable temperature. I hear that in my 3 series too. Just lurking around here and admiring the 2 series
