2001 M5 Rare Imola Red color combo For Sale

Hello,

Anyone interested in my Beast please let me know and I can post the details: I am thinking about getting a BMW AWD that I can use as a daily driver in Ohio. I would consider a Trade.

I hate to part with the M5 after 7 years but it sits in my heated garage undercover most of the time. It is a one of kind!

I can text or email pictures and more info if anyone is interested

If I am on the wrong thread please let me know. Thanks............

This car has been my baby for about 7 years. It has barely even seen rain. I have always had it serviced at Cain in North Canton, Ohio. When I first purchased I had Ganley in Akron check it over but Cain is a little closer to where I live.

As you can see it was modified with nice extras before the original owner even took possession of it. He was a car collector and had about $10,000 worth of extras done to the car on top of the sticker price of around $74,000. I still have the original sticker.

I am just looking to possibly sell so I can get another BMW that I can drive as a daily driver. The current CARFAX will show that it was wrecked in 2003 before I owned it. I talked to the gentleman that owned it at that time and he said he had it parked way off to the side at a country club and the Beer Delivery Truck did not see it and backed over the hood. He actually emailed me a picture of it. So he just had the entire hood replaced. I didn’t like the match they did on the hood so about 3 years ago I had it repainted and blended in. My guy did an excellent job.

Sorry to be so long winded, I am asking $32,500 and it has 72,000 miles. I just had the pixels replaced in the Dash and everything else is up to date. It is in showroom condition. (I also have a cover for it and I store it with a trickle charger on the battery.)

Thank you,

That is a very very high price, not to offend you but you can purchase an E60 M5 with less miles for the same price or less. And the fact that it has been in an accident before makes things worse. GLWS though regardless.

Price is a little steep as 'GEVOJANYAN' said in his post. I purchased my M5 with 20k less miles for HALF the price. Imola/Imola/Black is a nice combination, but your $10k worth of add-ons don't increase the sale value $10k. I think you should probably start somewhere around $23-25k sale price (and that might even be high)

Post it on M5Board.com classifieds

Goodluck, sad to see another beast for sale

Have you ever serviced the MAFs? Plugs? brake fluid and diff? trans fluid? VANOS seals/solenoids? What are fuel trims running? VANOS GT1 test results? MAF peak fuel test consumption test results?

Low miles dont always tell the full story.

HAVING SAID THAT, you cannot BUY "less miles"... if all the maintenance is done (not just the woefully inadequate, what the dealer/BMW said, but the maintenance we as a c=community now know is necessary) that price may be supported. Perusing M5board will teach one the ins and outs of these cars...maintenance...market... You will see companies lie EAG getting top dollar. But they get 32k for a car with sub40k miles....

All data points...

GLWS

PS I'd deduct $2500 for "needs 4 factory wheels that haven't been ruined with chrome"...

If asking and wanting are different things you might as well have asked for $74k

I missed the "salvage" part... where did you get that??

Car dealer out of NY? Between NY and FL, not sure where the bottom is....

OP, go to M5board and look up the cars that EAG is selling- as a benchmark. EAG is top dollar but their cars are fully documented (some with paint, some not) but almost all deferred maintenance is done- CPSs, MAFs, etc, etc

Do you research, price it realistically, BE REALISTIC, and wait for hte right buyer. Enjoy her over the summer!
